Weeds and Memories

Coming home again. A journey back to childhood haunts is sweet and tugs at the heart. I had the pleasure today to visit my flame’s childhood home and capture the image of some weeds for him, in homage to how completely he has captured my heart. The common grasses that mark his home stand in celebration of growth and striving towards the sun by the son. They mark time here as time was marked by him. Oh, golden memories of youth and adventures, when we mature they become ever sweeter.

For my flame and his brothers and sisters.

Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.

We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
