I took a trip to the middle school where my kids used to go, and I was happy and proud to see three of my neighbors, all of whom I could cordially greet by name. All of us shared enthusiasm for the process, for our country and our community. We joked that we should have carpooled, or taken a bus. I am happy and proud all the people waiting in line were patient and respectful. I am happy and proud that I was entrusted to deliver two mail in ballots for loved ones who could not make it to the polls today.
I am happy and proud that I live in America and that I, with my neighbors have the right to vote.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
