This is my refuge, my hideaway, my cave, my escape pod. I shelter here in order to escape the crises and the distractions and the ugliness that tug at my sleeves. I find refuge here when I climb inside and cozy down into the fibers that are soft and forgiving. Here, I can rest.
And when I am ready, I shall gather my inner strength and burst forth with the bloom that is sure to come. Judge me not based on size, for yes, I may be small compared to other blossoms, but my forceful dance, like a ballet or tango perfectly synced takes precise timing, strength and grace. I SHALL bloom and for me it will be immense.
When bloom time comes I can leave my escape pod and go out into the world. Until then, my cocoon is the place I choose to be, where I nurture my strength to build and my vision to clear. I feel if I have the right impetus behind me, it may be enough to launch me into space. There will be no limits to my explorations.
Please come back tomorrow for a new “Weed Image of the Day” and let me know which ones you like.
We and our weeds are so much more than what we first appear to be.
