The Joke’s On Me!

Okay. I admit. This looks bad.

I know I have been away. I know I neglected my garden this year. In fact I’ll admit I was often too preoccupied with taking photos of weeds, that I did not pull them as often as I should have. And, I know, and I’ll share this with you, even though it may start to sound like an excuse…but… I never have any luck  growing watermelons! Really!

Who’d a thunk that a tumbleweed would thrive right where I’d planted watermelon this past spring? I can see no evidence of any round juicy fruit, except for the manufactured sign, but I can see a very healthy tumbleweed that is getting regular water and plenty of sunshine! Watermelon may not be my forte, but I sure can grow my own Tumbleweed!

A joke is a joke, but now that I’ve been brought to my senses, the weeding in my garden will resume. I’ll do it tomorrow.
