Today is the day to make progress, to move towards the future. It is the day to seek out truth, knowledge, honesty and forthrightness. It is the day to see clearly – of what lies ahead, and what has come before. Part of our view is possible because of where we’ve come from, that tiny seed that planted us here, on this green Earth, in the spot that was determined, not by us, but by circumstance.
It is a good day, like every day, to acknowledge our roots and the benefits and strength they give us. While you stand rooted, bend with the wind to strengthen yourself and to invite movement of others. Dance today, whether you are in a group or alone! Listen; find the melody in the wind and the sounds of the birds, and dance to that song of your own making. As you are surrounded, listen to the song of the group; it may be to your liking, but if not, compose music that speaks directly to you, of you, for you. Find a patch of sky that shines blue just for you. Make it yours.
